Sigun, It is with a saddened heart that I greet you, having just learned of Leung Sifu passing. My condolences to his family, you and all who's lives he touched.

Henry Leung, inheritor of what became known as Buddha Hand Wing Chun (Fut Sao Wing Chun) passed away two weeks ago after a long and debilitating illness. He was a good friend to me, an insightful and generous teacher, a man of many talents.
Henry was very intelligent and well educated - he spoke English (quite well when the mood struck him), several dialects of Chinese, modern and court Japanese, and could read German. In addition to a medical degree, he held a degree in Economics from Tokyo University. He was born into a very well to do family in Foshan, and trained in his family's system of martial arts from a very young age. He was one of the most highly skilled, yet unassuming, martial artists I have ever met.
Many students passed through the doors of his schools. He had both public and private students. Prior to his illness I asked him who had learned the most from him. He named two students, but felt that only one, James Cama, had really grasped his teaching and was a capable teacher.
I have been doing martial arts now for over 40 years. I am only now really grasping the depth and breadth of what he taught me. I will miss him terribly.

Dear Sifu,
My name is Sanjay. I moved back to New York a few months ago. Previously, I was living in Japan where I began studying Wing Chun under Sifu Steve McGowan. When I returned, he recommended that I contact you to train.
Do you still have classes in Brooklyn or Manhattan and currently accepting students? Are the listings below in Canal St. still ongoing?
Thank you kindly, Sifu, I look forward to meeting you.
